“Hi, I’m Lindokuhle Shabangu originally from Hazyview in the Mpumalanga province.
I first joined Affinity Health back in the year 2016.
I decided to surf the net and look for better offers, and I came across Affinity Health’s contact details.
I gave them a call, asked a few questions, and yes, I was happy with their answers and I joined with them immediately.
Fast forward to 2018 when I had my first child.
I was covered for my blood tests, three black and white scans, specialist visits; which was the gynae at that point in time, as well as the GP visits for my monthly checkups.
And yes, I must say the GP visits were unlimited unless I didn’t use them enough but what I know is I never had any trouble using them and I could visit the doctor at any time!
2021 When I gave birth to my daughter, it was my choice to use a public hospital and I did exactly the same thing. I got a pre-authorization before giving birth and after birth, I claimed and used the money towards my daughter’s needs as well.
Another important thing that I must mention, that no other medical insurance or medical aid scheme could give me was, I and my kids are covered by the Combined Plan for less than R2 500.00.”
