Affinity Health and its CSI arm, The 100% Foundation, is helping build healthy communities and promote literacy – one child at a time.

The Foundation’s latest innovative initiative supports the Siyaphumelela programme at Chief Albert Luthuli School in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, which operates under the non-profit organisation, Care for Education.

Over the years, Affinity Health – a proudly South African health insurer, a specialised supplier of a range of long-term health insurance products, operating nationwide from Gauteng – has supported and made strategic investments to assist countless non-profit organisations dedicated to the upliftment of all South Africans.

Working tirelessly with The 100% Foundation, Affinity Health has played a valuable role in investing in education and skill development.

THE 100% Foundation was born out of a need to do more than what was already being done. Its vision is to see children who are born into poverty become educated and successful contributors to society. The Foundation fulfils this vision by providing funding to build infrastructure, promoting education, and supporting sustainable food security projects.

The 100% Foundation was instrumental in the resource and skills support for the Chief Albert Luthuli School library – a significant learning area for the children.

The Foundation also installed polygon library software to manage the library books, painted the library with the help of volunteers, and supplied seating for the children.
