My Affinity Story – Rochelle Botes
My name is Rochelle Botes from Centurion.
We have been Affinity Health insurance members for over four years.
Last year we needed to use the Accidental Cover for the first time.
My husband was carrying our then, three-year-old son and fell forward.
In an effort to not land on him, he lifted our son over his head and could not brace for the impact and broke the socket of his shoulder.
We needed to claim for Accidental Cover and not having done that before, we called the pre-authorisation line at Affinity, and we got excellent service.
They helped us with directing us on the documentation required, it was in the middle of September with public holidays all over the show and we got our guarantee of payment in time and the operation could take place as scheduled.
My husband now has use of his arm and we had no co-payments!
The follow-up from the Affinity Health Agent was excellent, the service we received in a time when a pandemic was raging through South Africa, we got the assurance we needed to get my husband sorted out, and have him have full mobility of his arm again.
